About Aromik.
The questions we hear most from importers and brand owners.
What does Aromik Exports do?
Aromik Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a Colombo-based export and private label company founded in 2016. We source, quality-check, pack and ship Ceylon tea, spices, fresh fruits and vegetables, and coconut products to importers, food brands, HoReCa operators, airline caterers and retailers worldwide.
Where is Aromik based and where do you ship?
We are based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Sea freight leaves from the Port of Colombo and air freight from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). We ship to buyers in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.
What is a Lot Passport?
A Lot Passport is a QR-linked digital record created for every Aromik shipment lot. It shows the origin, grade, packing date, lab results, container loading photos and export documents, so buyers can verify a lot in seconds.
Can you supply private label products?
Yes. We develop blends, source ingredients, pack to your artwork and apply destination-compliant labels in Sri Lanka. Formats range from 2 g tea envelopes to 25 kg bulk bags.
What is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product and pack. Bulk tea and spices usually start from one pallet, private label runs from a single production batch, and mixed-load containers let you combine categories. Share your volume and we will confirm.
Can I combine tea, spices and coconut products in one container?
Yes. Our Mixed-Load Container service consolidates several product categories into one 20ft or 40ft container with a single booking and one set of documents.
Which Incoterms do you offer?
We usually quote FOB Colombo, CFR or CIF. EXW and DAP are available on request.
How do samples work?
We courier reference samples. Once you approve one, a sealed counter-sample is retained and every shipment is matched against it before loading.

How long does shipping take from Sri Lanka?
Sea freight from Colombo takes roughly 1 to 3 weeks to the Middle East and South Asia, 3 to 5 weeks to Europe and 4 to 6 weeks to North America. Fresh produce moves by air within days.
Which certifications can you provide?
We work with partners certified to ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 or HACCP, and can supply organic, Rainforest Alliance, Halal or Kosher certified products on request. Certificates are attached to the Lot Passport.
Can you ship to my country?
